Has anyone successfully added remote start to their r230?

I have a 2003 sl500 and would like to keep the factory key fob.

If you have key-less-go it can be done, but once the car remote starts it will continue to run until you turn it off.

If you have keyless go then the key would have to remain in the car for the car to remote start. Something that I would not recommend. Otherwise, it's not possible to add remote start. Only remote heating/venting. http://web.mac.com/motorwerks/iWeb/Site/STH%20.html

Having the key in the car is not a problem so long as you pull the battery from the key fob and then hide the key. This way when you remote start you first energize the key fob which in turn will allow to remote start the car. And when the key fob is not energized, the key-less-go does not sense the key fob and will not function.

very nice feature regarding stationary heater...i have been searching for a very long time ...where can you buy it ...i have contacted webasto ...they dont have for mb as yet..i am interested for 2003 g500 and 2003 c320 4matic..
