Any programming needed in '07 to activate
passenger side mirror down on reverse, or has this feature been removed? Activating the right side mirror button does not cause this to happen.

The chirp confirmation now works but the mirror function is gone. The dealer even tried to tell me that my vehicle NEVER came with that feature
.There are a few others on this board with 07's that have a functional back-up mirror.

That's what the dealer will tell you but it's BS. We have an 07 and the back up mirror function worked great for several months until we took it in to the dealer to activate the chirp confirmation.
The chirp confirmation now works but the mirror function is gone. The dealer even tried to tell me that my vehicle NEVER came with that feature .
There are a few others on this board with 07's that have a functional back-up mirror.

I have the chirp.
I have no idea what my dad did. He went in to replace some roof panels because one was lost, it's nice, awkward though.
All the cars I remember have two unlock, one beep for lock. The Mercedes is short for unlock, long beep for unlock.

Auto down mirror
Well, I am chirping on lock/unlock, with light flash--but I believe that there just -ain't no- way to make that mirror go down automatically.
Maybe it's just me but this seems like MB is listening to their Chrysler accountants that came over in the deal.
