What should I expect to pay
Hey Guys. I'm new to this side of MB. I have an E55 and that's normally where I live on this forum. My sister is in the market for an SL550 and ask for my help. I don't know the car that well and I'm curious what she should expect to pay. She found a car she like on the floor at a stealer in Baltimore. I think the car is pretty loaded with all the toys. It sticker is 104k, what should she be able to get it for? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd offer $100K for the car with a maximum term extended warranty included. Even if she doesn't keep the car that long, she'll get the money back if she sells to a private individual.

Offer invoice price. Heavy discounts on SL550. If you live in a northeastern state with tons of snow, convertibles are selling like crap.
Just be firm on the price. Trust me, the car isn't going anywhere.

Get the actual purchase price (discounted price), the money factor (interest) and residual (percent or $ value car is worth when lease is up) squared away and insert them into the above lease calculator....dont let them manipulate the cap cost etc.

Correct, I understand this, however the salesman isn't always honest with the money factor. What is the lowest money factor that Mercedes will go on this car? I'm told .0028???
