sl55 Coming Out of Warranty
My '03 sl55 is coming out of warranty on 28 February. I've had extensive work done on creaks and rattles. In addition, I had the gas tank replaced, the noisy fuel pump replaced, the rear struts replaced, the front bushing replaced, the comand replaced, the one-button windows auto up adjusted as well as various other minor problems addressed.
I've had no issues with roofs leaking or chirping noises.
Has any sl55 owner whose sl has or is coming out of warranty had any other problems that I might have my dealer address as a preventative or prophylactic measure?
Altenatively, are there any other problems that sl55 owners have experienced in any other 230 model years that I should anticipate?

Extended Warranty
I would purchase an extended warranty, I did it on my S500 before the original warranty expired. In comparison to what the items cost to get replaced on these cars, it was a deal. I just got my S500 from the dealer yesterday and again, the warranty company is paying for repairs. The dealer told me if the command alone went out on my car it would be around 5-6k to replace.

My dealer told me to contact them before 50,000 miles to get extended warrenty. I wouldn't be without it. Engine for SL55 exceeds $50,000 from what I've heard and engine for SL65 is $100,000!
