I just bought some SL55 (albeit replica) tail lights. But the corner of one of the tail lights is chipped.



I'm trying to decide whether to just get a refund, or get at partial refund and fix it somehow. I'm kinda pissed.

How much are the tail lights worth? It looks like these are just regular lights (don't even look OEM) with a layer of tint over the tail light. It doesn't look too bad cosmetically except for the chipped corner... =(

sounds like someone just bought a bunch of stock SL taillights on ebay from someone that upgraded to SL55 ones and is trying to make a quick buck, by spray painting them with testers tint and making a few hundred dollars profit.

get a refund from this fraud and buy the real thing.

chipped corner that can be had for a few hundred off list.

I wouldn't pay $10 for a chipped taillight off a RR Phantom, let alone the SL. What would the point be? There is no way a chipped tail can be "fixed" either. Get a refund. There are plenty of places to get OEM 55 tails for ALOT off list, especially the 03-06 ones.
