Wiring a 2003 SL500 w/NAV-COMAND from 2005 SL500
Can anyone tell me if it possible or not to wire a 2003 SL500 with a navigation & comand head unit from a 2005 SL500? I realize that there is some cosmetic issues in the dash, but if I had the woodgrain piece from the 05 & the CD/NAV comand unit as well, how much trouble is it to wire it in? Could someone please let me know? Just how much different is the wiring if the units are still pretty much the same?

It would appear that a new car would be an easier solution.

Any new information available? I don't want to trade in my 2003 SL500 until they change the front end. I didn't like the 2013 update any better.
I would like to have Bluetooth, streaming, etc. Does anyone sell kits to install a double din deck. The shape of the stock mounting location would need some work.

Its really not that serious you just need a guy that's familiar with working on Mercedes, prefferably a tech guy.
Here is what you will need:
NTG 2.5 Command
Cable kit
Blue tooth antenna
GPS antenna
Phone mic cable
Harman Kardon AMP (Only If you have Bose Amp)
Wood trim for '05 & up (if your car is an '03 or ' 04 model)
Most of those parts you can get from command online. The command itself you'll have to hunt around for on ebay etc.
