Setting the Time - SL Class

Hey guys,

I need help...so in order to win a bet, I need to figure out how to change the time on my friend's SL -cLass...Below are details of the isssue..I hope someone can help me win my bet

Issue : Time is stuck 2 hours behind what is supposed to be {ie, we live in the eastern time zon, however the setting seems to be stuck in the Mountain Zone).

What we tried to do, and were unsuccessful :

- SYS> Time> change the time to the correct time using the arrow keys and hit the ok button. The system seems to be updated, but it does not get reflected in the LCD display. When we turn the car off - the system goes back to the "Mountain zone" display. It's up to date with the minute and everything..the hour is off though...

Some please help!!! thanks a million in advance!

Mercccccc

I did that too, but you don't have to press ok. Just rotate the dial to a few clicks to leave the time option. Wait a few seconds, and then press ok. And press back until you get back to the SVC screen. That should work.

Just had a thought...when u say "rotate the dial a few clicks to leave the time option". there are only arrows there right? what dial...? please advise..

Just to be clear again - this is for the LCD display at the top dash independent of the radio and nav console..

thanks again barbus..

When I had my battery replaced last week, I had to reset the COMAND in order to get the appropriate time. No big deal, but you do lose your addresses you previously input into the Navi.
