Hi,

does anyone know how to setup command to allow you to watch TV when on the move and stop it fading off once you start moving?

I have a R230 SL500 2005 with widescreen command.

Nup, you can't. You have to send the COMAND unit away.

where you can either send the unit or drive over. They offered to meet me part way to re-program. Can't remember how much - £200?

Thanks - does that mean all the threads that tell you to press and hold different sequence of keys and that takes you to the engineering set up doesnt work? (I have tried a few but couldn't get them to work)

Yup, previous models could be changed using a variery of buttons. Pity, would have made life easier.

The guy selling on ebay is selling solution only for euro model command screens. I dont think it'll work on U.S. models

Won't work in Europe either. Think you have to download an older version STAR diagnostics.
