Panorama roof with sunshade
I may get the panorama roof option. For those that do have the panorama roof, please tell me how you like it.

Love mine... really opens up the interior. Initially I was concerned with the contrast of the glass roof and the silver exterior, but it has grown on me. Still think it looks better with a darker color.
Sunshade is kind of flimsy, in my opinion.

I've been in SL's that have it, didn't really care for it that much. If it's nice enough to open the shade, it's nice enough to drop the top
They do look good on white/silver from the outside. If I were to get a white SL, i'd definitely want one although it wouldn't be a deal breaking option.

Does the car get hot if you leave the sun shade open? I know if I do not use the UVS-100TM sunshade on the front windshield, my SL gets hot inside.

I love it....cant imagine not getting one without it but I think I spoiled myself when I got that option and when I first saw it I fell in love with it. As for getting hot in the inside without the shade being closed...not really. Its tinted so its just like tinting your windows and it helps keep the sun from reflecting in making it hot. I personally always have it open and its fine. Its nice because it also brightens up the inside of the car during the day and at night from the city lights, etc. You cant go wrong with it!!!

I have it in my SL55(Black) and I love it. It truly opens up the interior. Regarding the cheap sun sceen, it is no more cheaply made than the rear or side window screens in fact it is the same material.

Undoubtedly the BEST option on the car...
I love mine, and I think it makes the car... It's too plain without it. I vote strongly you get it!

A must-have in my opinion. Haven't been in one without it though, but would imagine it would be a bit too dark. Never had the need to have the screen over on the odd days when it's really hot, well hot to me - 85c.

The pano roof defintely opens up the interior and I would include it as A "must have" option, regardless of the exterior color. I think the sunshade could be a disappointment to anyone who is expecting more of the traditional sunshade that is under the regular Mercedes sunroof. A bit flimsier, but certainly acceptable.

It was the reason I ended up going the Euro Delivery route. It was the only way to get a black SL with Sirius radio AND the pano roof. I had to special order it and I will always have one in my follow-up SLs.

Got it on the SL I liked it wife loved it , now got it on s63 too.
Seems silly but I actually think it brightens my mood, as even on dull days you still get far more natural light

Its great on quiet country roads looking up into the trees above, and really gives the space that ourdoorsy feel, if you go for that kind of thing.
Damn, looks like you'll have everything but run flats and the kitchen sink!

I'm really happy with mine (except for the price). The sunshade works great - I doubt the interior gets much hotter with it than without the Pano roof - especially with all the other nearby class of the rear and side windows.
