I spotted it in central Stockholm this weekend.

Could it be a test bed? For someone to change that much from an SL/SLR would seem to cost quite a bit of cash. But why the cloth top? An older modified SL? Would really like to learn more about the car in the photo.

This is really nothing to know IMO, it is a just a conversion done by someone with very little if any taste. It looks just awful. An R129 with a R230 back and a SLR nose, it should be destroyed.
