I added vids of the exhaust note to the main post. The exhaust is a custom job done by Pepe in LA, he is a wizard with this stuff The 2nd video is the old straight piping (no mufflers) which was a **** poor job (holes in welds, sloppy).
The parking garage distorts the sound quite a bit, I'll need to make one out in the open...
CY: All my paint work and lowering was done by Harbor Motor Sports, they are incredible, best service I've ever received for anything!
Black Front Grill w/Gunmetal Benz Star
Black Fins
Glossy Black Diffuser
Black Spoiler
Custom Smoked Tails (looks more like AMG tails with a deep smoked center)
Lowering with links (going to drop the front a bit more)

wow very nice!! one of the nicest SL's....very classy I love how the sidemarkers are silver to match the car and the spoiler matchs the grille. How many layers of paint on the taillights??? mine has about 5 layers.

Here's some crappy ones off the cell phone; you can see the taillights better.
Next day shoot will be after I get new wheels and drop the front a bit more
Thanks! I have no idea how many layers of paint are on the tails...

Can you please tell me, where you got the rear spoiler..?
I've been looking everywhere! I think it gives the car that little extra, seen from the side or behind. Nice and discrete!

Murtaza....you should look at the diablo lionharts....the ones I have. They are inexpensive(they run you around $2500 wth tires). I drive my car hard too and never had a problem with them. The rims I had before were davin wheels and the run aruound $8000 and up and I always bented the hell out of them. I have the toyo proxses tires and there great.

They are now for sale

I won't be getting Lowenhart looking wheels, too blingy for me. I'm looking into HRE/DPE or NADs.
That is the hope; if the wheels don't sell (for what I want) I might just paint them black

Diablo one pieces may be strong but they are just fake Lowenhart LD5's without the HUGE lip in the rear and arent made for the SL (offset isnt right/center bore not exact) its true they will not bend easy but are not nearly as nice as the Lowenharts which look INSANE and are built for the SL and have the 4in+ lip which is crucial for most people who want 20's. Plus the Diablos are narrow. With 20's a SL needs a 305 in the rear...the Diablo will fit a 275

Very, very nice photos. What great lighting and effects.
I really like the second set of rims. They look like they would take some time to clean though.

I like the second set as well...a lot of people have Asantis that look the same but the DPE's are probably lighter...hope the rear lip is at least 4in.
Also I would rather leave the rims painted as is.....to me stock rims painted black doesnt look right....the 65 color is way better on them.
If you hang out at Harbor Motorsports enough Im sure you'll end up getting deep dish 20's one way or another.
