replacing std uk key with chrome panic key
ignore my user name, new car. its a 2006 sl500. i want to swap the dull black key (no panic button) for the chrome panic key,

can the panic button be made to work on a uk car?
is it a c-bus /most regional setting?
how else can the car be programmed without a star computer?
whats the system needed to change the c-bus settings? on my w211 e the mirrors stopped folding on door lock/unlock, and at the same time i got the dealer to make the car beep on lock unlock (i think the car had to be told it was in belgium/ netherlands, somewhere like that). i would like to be able to do these things myself.(the good guy at my local dealership has moved away, other staff are less receptive.
i'd prefer a pc based program with a serial / usb cable if possible.any help?
