Help! Anybody!

Hello all,

Does anybody know how to replace the bumper side markers? I am having a hard time removing those Orange Amber side markers to replace them with the clear side markers. Can I just pop them out or do I have to go thru the bottom and pop it out? Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

Take a small flat head screw driver and insert it to the rear of the light and push it forward. This will free the rear tab and allow you to remove the light. I masked off the area behind the light to avoid scratching the paint. It is really simple.

Or you can remove the screw inside the front tire well and stick your hand in between the black rubber guard and the inside of the bumper and squeeze the tabs on the side marker light.

The correct way to do it

Just went to the dealer. The 07 SL550 bumper reflector on an AMG sport package CANNOT be popped out. It has a torque screw next to the clip. You need to remove the place tire cover and reach behind the bumper reflector assembly and remove the screw first, then reach for the clip and then you can take the whole thing out. Also the clear bumper lenses for the SL500 and the SL550 is different. Does anybody know where to get them?
