I think he should get a 600 only if its starmarked in black, white, graphite or silver.....but also tell him about the 09 facelift so he knows it will have a completely new front end etc.

I dunno guys, once you go V12 it's kinda hard to go back... :o
The later model years are really good. All the kinks are worked out, I strongly suggest that he gets the latest model year he can.
BTW: How long can he wait? It just seems like R230's are quite common now, why not try something a bit more rare?
