As an East Coast member I wish I was out there in Cali and was hoping that someone had gone to the show and could give us some pictures or info. I'm sitting in 5+ inches of snow right now so I could really use something to make me feel like buying a convertible. Thanks

I was just there today. It was pretty good, too many people though. But thats to be expected for the first Sunday of the auto show. They had the new SL there, looked pretty sharp. I took a liking to the new Civic Si, although I wasn't crazy about the yellow one that was on display. Another one I really liked was the 2002 Dodge Ram. I wasn't expecting much, but I got in anyways. It feels very comfortable, almost like it was custom-tailored for me. I might have to cruise down to my friendly Dodge dealer and take one on a long drive.

Was there on saturday and saw a couple of SL-500's. One in Silver and another one in Aspen Green (i think that's the name of the color) and they look very nice! No price available yet according to the info sheet.

I have a 1 minute video of the SL rotating 360 degrees at the LA Show. It's 5mb, but not a jpeg, gif, etc, so I can't put it up on the site. If anyone has webspace that they're willing to put it on, I'll send it to you.

I attended the LA Auto Show Saturday. Saw 3 SL's. Brabus displayed one black on black. Full Brabus ground effects. 20 inch Monoblock VI's. Very cool! Mercedes displayed 2 SL's. These cars are even prettier than the pictures I have seen! The silver one had the sport package with the AMG trim work and 18 inch AMG rims. The "standard" car they showed with the stock 17 inch rims looked weak compared to it.

I am getting the first 03 "Launch Addition" from my dealer. Does anyone know how the "Launch Additons" will be equiped? I hope it has the sport package, because the AMG body work and 18 inch rims make a big difference.
