Bought a CPO SL 2 months and around 2K miles ago. It now needs new front brake pads. If it was CPO'ed correctly shouldn't it have enough pad wear left for a lot more then 2K miles? What would you say to the dealer???

On the CPO Inspection and Certification Report, which is a standardized MBUSA document, the brake rotors/pads portion of the undercarriage/drivetrain test states:
"Brake Rotors/Pads (Minimum of 50% Pad Material) Measure brake rotors, record results."
So it sounds like you might have a legitimate beef if you take it to the dealer you purchased it from. I doubt another dealer would "care".

They will replace your pads for free one time. Make sure they don't use that up on this pad change.

I did not know they did that? Why do they do that and where did you find that out?Originally Posted by Murtaza

Yes, please tell me about this as well. I had the same problem,
where three months and 4k miles after I bought the car I needed
both front and rear pads. I took it to my SA and he got it done
for free, as a one time thing since I bring my other cars to him and
I just spent close to $7k on the 600 with repairs and services the
previous week.
