scratch on passenger door

Came out today and noticed a 1" scratch on my passenger door. Someone must have opened their door into mine and then kept opening their door, right at the bottom ridge. It must have been a Japanese car because it did not ding the door, just pulled the paint off. Talk about being pissed off! Luckily I did not catch the insensitive Ahole!

There sure are

There sure are a lot of inconsiderate people out there, they don't care about their property and even less about YOURS!!!

I have seen so many people open their doors into other cars, most of which just walk away, just a couple days ago, I left a not on a car with the make/model/color/tag of a car parked next to them that did the same thing you are describing.

What color is your car???

Wow, great move. I will keep this in mind if I see the same thing. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I park as far away from others as I can to prevent some poor sap from dinging my SL. I would pummel the idiot.

My car is brilliant silver. I will have to have it touched up, clear coated and then wet sanded and buffed.
As for parking out of the way, it seems to drawer attention like ants to sugar.
Some Ahole sees that you parked out of the way and makes it a point to park right next to you. I have found that in the past it is best to park regularly, but never park next to a two door car,( wide door), or mini-van, (kids swinging doors open) or a junker (don't give a care about their care much less yours). Unfortunately, the cars must have moved around me and I do not give a once around when I get in the vehicle.

Brilliant Silver

The Brilliant Silver should repair just fine unlike the unforgiving black color I have, GOOD LUCK with the repair.
