2005 SL500 paint issues
My 2005 SL500 has faded paint on the pillars near the rear window. Looks like it might have been caused by rubbing when top is folded. Someone told me this is a known problem and covered by the warranty, but I haven't found any reference to it on this forum. Anyone out there have any info regarding this?

I've replaced them at the body shop. It was $61.00 each panel and 1hr labor.
Hopefully, you can have them replaced with your warranty. Mine was expired.
