Stopped at my dealer to look at the 2009 SL..
It looks much better in person, the front has a very aggressive look.
I wonder how long it will be until they are discounting by 20k like on the 08's

I was at a Preview at MBLN on Wednesday. The 2008 cars in the showrooms are preview cars. No stickers in the windows yet. Test drives to certain customers are available in these test cars. So if you have some juice at your Dealer enjoy. They are going to be available for demo for a couple weeks.
Early this summer the cars will be at the dealer for sale. And yes they are offering some great deals on existing SL inventories. $ 20K + Off. They seemed very motivated to get the 2008`s out the door. I saw some huge discounts on SL65 as well.

I saw the new SL at the New York Auto Show yesterday.
It was one of the hottest cars at the show. MANY were taking pics of it and there was a crowd around the SL550 on the floor. The SL63 was rotating on a platform.
The front end looks better in person than in the pics. Many other current SL owners looking at it when I was. I didn't hear one negative comment on the new styling.

Been playing with an 09 SL600 for the last few days, and I'm impressed with the new Media Interface and electronics upgrade it received (very similar to new C Class Comand). I think the UBS slot is a nice addition, and I'm looking forward to the similarities across the line (except the S & CLK) that the new Comand units will bring.

2003 SL500 2005 G55
I have been reading up on the magazines about the new SL and alot of them seem to like the new SL63 but some say the SL55 was a better car.....The new look is starting to grow on me alittle bit the more i look at it....I do like it only with the AMG kit etc on it and i do like the new features it has like i guess you can set the transmisson the way you like plus the ride comfort and then press a AMG button and it programs the ones you like and theres like 4 different transmission styles and ride styles you can choose from its pretty cool from what i see.......
