Fed up with my 2003 SL500
The front end has dropped for the last time. I woke up, went to the garage and the front end of the car was sitting on the front tires. I was able to get the car back up and limped it to Schumacher Mercedes. I traded it in for a 2004 SL with 21k on it and the CPO. My wife has now claimed it for herself. No worries, I have the Vette. WARNING to all future SL500 owners, Stay away from the 2003. They are evil!!

The ABC/Airmatic suspension has had problems ever since they were implemented in the S/CL classes. I remember seeing plenty of 2000/2001 S and CL's dumped on their tires.
I think it's a problem every airmatic/ABC owner will have to deal with. Again, like I say to every Mercedes owner: Do not own these cars without a factory warranty.

I got a CPO too..extended it 2 years (total of 3 years valid)...
My ABC system was worked on after I picked up my car, but the "ABC visit workshop" sign still pops up from time to time....
