Cellphone
Just got my SL500. Is there any other option beside paying over 2k for their phone? Is there anyway I can use an existing phone? Or perhaps buy a mercedes phone from ebay? On ebay I've seen the phone, but not the kit. Or do I just need the phone? Thanks.

The cost of the phone in the US is boggling. Don't know the cost of standard mobiles in the US, but here they're often free once the model has been out for a while. Only early adopters pay anything of substance. The Motorola equivalent installed in the SL is less than half the US price. Someone is making a big profit....

too expensive
Well, as suggested I used the search on this and apparently it doesn't work with T-Mobile (GSM) yet. But even if it did, it is way to bloody expensive. My regular v60 phone sitting in an aftermarket cradle which is attached to an airvent is good enough for me. Everytime I'll look at it, I'll be reminded that I just saved $2200!
