Trunk Handle

For those that have the Trunk Handle, do you like it? I wonder which looks good on a pewter: stainless steel in polished or satin finish,

I had it on mine and it is now in a cabinet in the garage. I found it to be somewhat useless and really did not add anything to the appearance.

i just got mine a month ago in chrome. i saw it on a friends sl and thought it was a good idea because i was always grabbing the trunk when closing it and scratching the paint.

the only problem is i have to force myself to remember to use it. lol

I have the polished stainless steel version on my pewter SL and it looks great IMO.
But just like gga said, I often forget to use it. I bought it more for looks than functionality.

As I said I have no use for mine. Send me a PM with your address and I will gladly send it to you. This will be the Friday "Blue Plate Special" and will be free of charge.
