Hi everyone,

I'm going to order a SL 350 by tomorrow and confirm the color. Please anyone explain whats the difference between Obsedian Black, Designo Mocca Black, Designo Brilliant Black & Designo Platium Black??

I want a very dark metalic black color?? Which one above is for me??

Thx

James,

Obsidian black is a metallic black with, I believe, a clear coat.
Mocha black is a metallic black with dark brown flakes. Very pretty in my opinion but definitely a very dark brown/black.
I have not seen the latter two.
There is also a Magestic Black in the US which is a dark blue/black.

Hope this helps.

Jeff

My last E55 was pure black and It looked good when clean but showed small surface scratches very badly.

I have obsidian Black on my ML63 and in most lighting it is Black. But in bright sunlight it takes on a slightly blackish/gray color. Surface scratches though are less noticable.

Good luck!

You want pewter. It hides dirt and scratches. The chicks love pewter.
