Flap Motor
The vario diagnostic aid skips an important step in Stage 4 of the closing sequence. Side flaps are folded in....BY AN ELECTRIC MOTOR IN THE TRUNK LID. If your roof opens fine but closing sequence stops when flaps should fold in...check flap seating and micro switches. If not that, may be this electric motor. It is located below the 3rd brake light and appears prone to water damage through 3rd brake light leakage. Remove trunk lid felt and you will see it easily. Will post a thread once I work my way through fixing it.
