Ring and Pinion Swap
I have an '04 SL600 I'm considering some mods for. One of which is a shorter gear set. I know the gears in the car are 2.65:1 and the SL55 AMG has a 2.82:1 set. Are they interchangeable? Is there a shorter set? Is this a bad idea?
