sl500 rear bumper help
I want to get these chrome strips painted black, can i remove just the chrome strips or must i remove the entire strips including the pdc sensors.
if u can just remove the chrome strip, how do i do that?

Hmmm... I don't think those strips are stock. The only ones I have ever seen are aftermarket and are stick ons. My 06 doesn't have them. Check out ebay. You'll see what I mean.
So, you could just peel them off, clean up any residue, and leave them off. That's assuming that I am correct. Better wait for a second opinion.

those strips are not from the factory. those are glued (3M tape) on accessories. i believe you can remove them by using a heat gun to loosen the glue and then peel off.
