I have a problem with my key function...

Some time ago I tried to open my roof with key by pressing unlock button and keep pressing it while pointing to the handle on drivers door. It worked sometimes...

Now I somehow stopped working, what could be a problem?

Check the battery in the key first of all. If it's weak, that could be the problem. Second, make sure you are holding the key no further than about six inches or so from the door handle or it won't work. If it still doesn't work, maybe there's a programming issue . I would probably consult the stealer at that point.

And I know this is stating the obvious, but just in case - check that the trunk separator is properly in place.

I had this prob before and it was the batt in my remote,,so I would make sure you check that.

Thanks, guys. Next time I'll go to my dealer, I change the battery in remote.
Hope then everything will work fine
