Replace ABC Fluid -$650?
To SL owners...
My ABC malfunctioned and the dealer says the will replace "few thousand dollars of parts under warranty". However for the fluids, it is not covered and I will have to shell out $650....Am I getting ripped off?

I was quoted $1200 for the same thing just last week. I have Mercury Ext Warranty, and they agree to replace the bad pump; however, they want me to pay to have the system flushed first and see if that takes care of the problem.
Since it did not, they end up paying for the pump, labor to install the pump and the fluid. I did have to come up with ~$500 for the flush labor. I'm still fighting them on that.
