I am amazed that the little nipper has such a big nice Merc on order.
Seriously, Mercs are for old people kiddo, those above 40, just getting into the big bucks, not little snots.
My son drives my Volvo T5. Is 250 hp too much for a 17 year old? Is 500 hp too much for a student? 500 NO, you ars, you shows off with this car, and everybody will just hate you for being such a showoff.
Please kid, just Rice up some Civic and forget about pretending to be a man.

as far as going from a camry to an mb, hmmm who cares, it can easily be done by anyone, it's called money management, if someone doesn't spend much and likes to save and one day empties one of his back pockets for something he likes, what's the problem with that? lol

I worked 30 hrs/week when I was in college, and by the time of grad. I had 30k for the down payment of my first MB. By the way, before that I was driving an old and beat-up accord with the right side bumper hanging in the air.

**** happens.....
I'm 21 (22 in June) and own a Viper & CLK. People just LOVE to make smart-a$$ comments about "my daddy buying them for me" or me dealing drugs. What's funny is I bought them myself and own (both are paid off) more then the 30-40 year old guys hating on me (along w/ kids my age).
Jealousy is a terrible thing, but being 21 and owning stuff like MB's just brings out the worst in people (ie. Eurosport). It's really sucks, but I wouldn't give up my cars for any dude talking stuff.
I've learned to live with it....

But it's the way that society is structured which draws negative attention to someone in your position. The likely hood of someone 21 year of age owning such big-ticket items such as a Viper & MB LEGITIMATELY is astronomically small, unless of course, you are an entertainer, wealthy inheretant, or lotto winner. But to be none of these draws even more suspicion and puts a person into the socially-damned drug-dealer category.
I'm sorry, but your post begs the question as to how you are able to acquire such items?
The guy who got this "debate" going has mentioned that he is in college and has a $100k car on order. A statement like that just doesn't sound reasonable, and will draw all kinds of attention, mainly negative.

In 1999, I started my own business in the sports card/memorabilia market. I became business associates with ReggieJackson.com and it took off from there. Check me out on eBay (ID: Sean9689@aol.com)...buy something!
I graduate from St. Louis University in May (2003) and already have a job lined up(which I'm grateful for). I will also still do my own business on the side for sure.
