well i agree with all of the places you have said where you can use that 600+Hp engine, but what about a quiet country road or an empty motorway at night? The feeling of embarassing an Aston or a ferrari, sometimes the feel of having such a powerful car is better than going fast, at least YOU know what you are capapble of!
don't ruin my fun with the armageddon theory, I am only 18, haven't got a car yet, and Mercedes is fav manufacturer!

I was at the Detroit Auto Show and spoke to a Mercedes rep. (not a salesman). I specifically asked him about the Command II intro date for the 2003 SL. And as a 2004 model will it have Nav II?
Did the guy from Mercedes ask his source in New Jersey if the Nav II will AT LEAST be available in all 2004 SL's?

Is there really going to be a SL with a 12 pack with bi-turbos producing 600+ hp, and if so what will be its model number and when will it be shown?
