Trunk lid not raising on its own

Good day everyone. I know there are some shocks on the trunk lid that I most likely have to change but where can I purchase these and how do I install them?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Just replaced mine , it would rise but eventually falls and hits me in the head !!!! easy to replace and cost about $80 for both sides.

where did you purchase yours and do you have any steps to take to replace them?

DEALER. it cost cheap enough so just get it from the dealer. it requires you the pull and release the black metal rings and you'll be able to remove the strut . same action on both ends of the strut , and same action puting new ones in . once in click the ring tabs in to lock .(don't completely remove the metal rings just release them with a small flat head screw driver , it holds up once you pull it ) I would advice you getting someone to hold the trunk .
