SL/R230: Difference between all the silvers...

Difference between all the silvers...
In my ongoing search, I've noticed 3-4 different silvers in the 05-06 line. Just in case I do settle for silver, just wondering if I could get some feedback.
05- 1. Brilliant Silver, 2. Diamond Silver
06- 1. Iridium Silver 2. Diamond Silver
I think the Diamond is the one that has a tint of light blue in it from the pics. I had an old 993 that had this bluish/silver that I really liked, is any of these a little "off" silver? So many out there, too bad the market is flooded with silver & black.

Brilliant Silver was the standard MB silver for many years but was recently replaced with Iridium Silver. I am sure there are formulation differences, but overall they are quite similar. Diamond Silver looks light blue in most lighting. Color is personal preference... choose the one you like best. You have to live with it every day.
