Thanks guys, just replaced them this morning. My 03 just pops open a bit when you press the trunk release button. Now I'm just getting a creaking sound when I open up the trunk, sounds like someone walking on old wood floors LOL. Any ideas on how to get rid of that noise?

When I hit the trunk release with my fob, it releases, but not fully. I have to do it a second time to fully unlock.
The release mechanism sounds weak on the first hit and stronger on the second. Anyway to fix this?
Also, where is the trunk release button located in the interior? I searched for one when I got the car and couldn't find it (I thought it was strange to have to use the fob each time).
Thanks in advance!

Found it thanks! Still, I have to hit it, it partially opens (same as when pressing the keyfob) then walk to the trunk, pull on it, then hit the switch again to open it.
Anyone been through this before? Is there a fix?
