M-bENZ, you may want to pony up for a Carfax 10-car subscription or something if you are really in the market for a car. The $40 is pretty insignificant compared to the car price, and then you can look up other cars (like m4xm1l10n's ) while you're at it.

ahahahh I know but I cant buy his because im looking for a trade lolz. Ok back the car u said the car got both sprots and P1 but how come the front bumper looks different from the ///AMG bumper...Correct me if im wrong Sport and ///AMG are different right??? and what is the P1 ?? I'm new to SL .

the bumper from the second car is the bumper off of a 07-08 sl550 non sports/amg model. the bumper from the 1st car is the non sport/amg 03-06 front bumper. m-benz good luck with the SL, but you know its not gonna be know where as fast as our clk500's but the car will look way nicer

Yeah... for me the real way to know if it's got the Sport Package is to see if the steering wheel has the Tiptronic paddles on it. No way to really fake that. Too bad the seller doesn't have any interior pics -- which would make me worry -- what's he hiding?

P1 is the premium comfort package -- multicontour ventilated seats, more leather, and I believe that Keyless Go is part of the deal. The "Air-conditioned seats" and "Massage seats" entries tipped me off (although I think the "pulse" feature is a little tame to be called a massage seat...) but I don't see any mention of Keyless Go, which is kinda a bummer -- that is quite nice.

NOP Still the 03-06 front bumper i asked him , and he said he just added the bezel rings on , exactly what I'm gonna do to mine .

How much faster is it really from an SL500 ? now the CLK550 & SL550 IS A MONSTER for a N/A engine .

i have both the clk and the sl, n the sl is now where close to being as fast as the clk, the weight of the SL is substantially more, my clk has a few modifications, but you cn tell a major diff. btw the car. Where did u get the specs from? edmunds state tht the clk goes 0-60 in 6sec, i dnt believe half these sites with spec information on it

i think those fog light rings look out of place on the 03-06 bumpers, it looks too big on it

im glad im not the only one the foglight rings just dont look right

I had a CLK500 , and honestly only difference was off the line , it felt a bit quicker and it should because is lighter , but the difference is very insignificant between the two . Also A CLK500 can easily brake the 6 sec 0-60 , MORE LIKE 5.6-5.8

It actually threw me off like wth is that, thts y i thought it was the non amg front bumper

it loks right on the 550(amg bumper)bc the bumper grilles are bigger n wider, i think reg 550 bumper looks ok, but those on a 03-06 bumper takes up too much space. heres some pics for comparison

make sure u pull off the engine cover plate/airbox n check if the valve cover gaskets are leaking, thts the first thing i always look for.
