Arrow SL55 AMG Steering Wheel Shifter Paddles...

Has anyone converted there Steering Wheel Shifter Buttons to the New Paddle Style? If anyone has completed this conversation, let me know what you did and what was all involved!

Thanks to all,
Dave

From what I understand it can be done with much effort. The circuitry is different on the paddles vs the buttons. VRP has replacement paddles but they are hit and miss. I tried and I missed ended up getting a new wheel.

Thanks for the info, it's a big help! So you ended up buying a new steering wheel! Did that put you close to $2K complete as you probally had to buy one with air bag as the style is different? Thanks again...

I bought the same wheel that was on the car which retailed for $2,200(ouch) so I did not need the air bag to be replaced. MB is very proud of their pricing on replacement parts.
