SL550 rollbar incident

The other day, I made a left hand turn out of a parking lot and hit a little bit of gravel. I was going pretty slow but then I heard a loud sound and the rollbar had popped up (my top was up as well)! It scared the crap out of me! I pull into a parking lot and attempted to put it back down. It wouldn't budge. I had to put the entire top down, put the rollbar down, and then put the top back up. Has this happened to any of you guys?

It's normal and is a safety issue in case of an rollover . it detects aggressive driving and comes up instantly . to put it down just hold the bottom for about 5 seconds and it will reset it . HAHAHAH used to happen to me all the time as i dip down sideways doing corners , but it seam to learn my driving conditions and doesn't come up as much as it used to .

Maybe it's just resigned to your driving?
