Ticking noise
I need some info.
I was filling up the card when I heard a ticking noise from the engine compartment. Something I never want to hear
Opened the hood and the noise didn't come from the engine, but from a small device that I couldn't place in terms of functionality.
Its rubber mounted and when I moved it around a bit, the ticking stopped, but started again shortly after.
Please see the picture. SL600 TT V12. Excuse he dirt; its still winter here

Tried to look at some images of a Mercedes purge valve and that could be it. The car has to go in for service, so I'll ask them.
