Doesn't make it suck any less though -- kinda a bummer to not be able to "undo" it if you want.

LOL -- somebody at my work did that with their white SL. It's a dark garage, so I couldn't see for sure if it were paint or a really dark tint, and I hadn't seen the option previously to know the difference from the outside. It totally messed with my head when I was trying to decide whether or not to go with the pano!

yeah, painted is great, long ago when I had my 05' G35x sedan, it was pearl white and I painted the top super duper glossy black, looks just like it had pano.......BUT you have to keep it waxed up all the time, because when its super duper glossy, it scratches that much easier

but it looks awesome, was thinking of doing same to my pewter SL500
