Door Buttons & Keycard
I've been having some intermittent problems with my 03 SL's Keycard. Sometimes the car wont start in keyless mode, it says that the keycard isn't recognized or something close to that.
The door buttons on both doors will not work at all. I cannot lock the doors by pressing the button on the door handle. However, I can unlock the doors intermittently by pulling the latch with the keycard in my pocket.
I've replaced the battery twice!
The stealer says that the door buttons are probably bad and to bring it in for replacement but before I do, is there any reset or calibration adjustment that can be made? Fuse?

I'm a little confused.. It never has a problem starting with the key so I wouldn't have even thought about the starter being part of the prob. Does the starter have some kind of remote communication for the keycard? Why/how would this affect the door button?
