ABC suspension confused
First and most important, I have no ABC warning light on of any type. I took my Sl500 to two dealerships because my suspension as soon as I turn the car off, the right front side would drop about half an inch. Both Dealerships came up with the same solution, a 300 dollars alignment. I gave them the benefit of doubt and paid for the alignment but it did not fix the problem. Everywhere I have read on this problem states the fixed are:
a. Flush the ABC system
b. Replace the front ABC valve if problem is front or rear valve.
c. could be SAM sensors.
My problem is why can a Mercedes Benz Dealership troubleshoot the cause of the problem with their Star system or diagnostic tools. Can a leaky valve be pin-pointed?
A third dealership advises that the half inch drop is no problem as long as when the car starts, everything levels itself out. But I'm looking at this as an early indication of a problem and I need to get it fixed before the warranty expires. Help, any advise. https://mbworld.org/forums/images/sm...smashfreak.gif
