2004 SL600 exhaust modification - HELP

Hi

I am trying to figure out how to get the mufflers to sound a bit more aggressive on my 04 SL600 (and still passing the CA smog checks). I am thinking about going with straight pipes (not touching the CAT).

Anyone with comments/tips/advise on how+what+where+$$$ should be done - would be greatly appreciated

I went ahead and deleted the mufflers today. Below is the link of my SL600 with straight pipes (will get the quad tips soon).

Would anyone have an idea (or a sound clip is even better) if an Eisenmann exhaust would sound much much more aggressive? I am trying to decide if I stay with this solution or go to an Eisenman (i.e. more $$$ )?

Thanks in advance

You can not achieve a more agressive sound by adding Eisenmann. You can install "cut-outs" by DHM and get more of a lambo or formula one type sound but u will have to close them in certain areas because they are very loud. U can google them and get more info but too much of anything (especially exht. noise) is probably too much....

Good luck,
