Hey, i own an slk350 '06 and am going to upgrade to an sl550. i had a couple questions that would help me decide which is the right car for me:

1. what difference does the sport package make? is it worth it? can someone please post a picture of what the car looks like with/without the package for easy comparing?

2. what are the differences between the 2007 sl550 and the 2008 sl550?

3. anything else you think is worth mentioning? any tips about what to look for?

oh, and another question, what does the distronic thing do, and the parktronic thing do?

1. All it does is give you sportier bumpers and wheels. It's easy to find pictures of the non-AMG pack/AMG pack. SL550.
2. Not many, if any at all.
3. The 2007+ models are pretty reliable. Not much to look out for.

Distronic is a cruise control system that monitors the space ahead of your vehicle for other cars and will slow you down if there's a slower car in front of you and also speed you up (to your set speed) if the situation allows it.

Parktronic are parking sensors that warn you if you get to close to cars, people, objects, etc.
