Trickle charge batteries, a few questions.

Assuming your battery is strong and working properly, and you dont have a lot of aftermarket stuff installed to drain the battery, if you leave your car parked for 5 days would you need to use a trickle charger?

If you parked your car outside because you lived in a rented out basement suite, and you couldnt run an extension cord out to your car, how else could you charge the battery in your trunk?

Would you be able to remove the battery in the trunk, bring it inside and charge it indoor and then when you need to drive the SL500 bring the battery outside and install it?

Solar charger

You could do but there are 2 batteries in an SL and you would loose some stored settings and it would be a right pain!
