SL600 vs modded z06
hi guys my buddy has a c5 z06 slightly modded, and said he ran a sl600 on the highway and lost by 3-4 cars. do u think my friend jus didnt know how to drive his car or is the sl600 jus that powerful? Because the sl65 is only 3 car lengths ahead of a stock m6 from a video i seen on youtube and the m6 looses to modded c5 z06s.

Was it a black SL600 in vegas ? ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The only ones that scare me are the newest z06s. From personal experience, a C5 Z06 has never been a problem.

The SL will take him by a bit. I used to have a modded C5 a year or so ago and the biggest problem they have is traction. A stock C5 Z06 will run low 12's vs. an SL600 will dip into the high 11's. A modded C5 Z06 on the other hand is a different story, they could run mid 11's to low 11's with heads and cam...something a typical DIYer could do in a weekend. I had a fully built motor in mine and it was a scary animal. But i've always been impressed by the torque of a 600. A C6 Z06 under the right driver is very fast...low 11's. A stock 600 won't have a chance against that......until is modded
