SL/R230: Has anyone done warranty repairs thru Chrysler Service Contracts ?
Trending Topics
I don't believe in trying to force someone to take my business or money. Something is definitely fishy about the business practices of Michael Case. I'm sure he isn't the only person in the United States that sells decent Extended Warranty policies!

I called local dealer and the 1 year extend my CPO is $2500 and a 2yr from online is $2200. I know its a no brainer but at the same time I kinda want to make sure everything is covered...the last thing I want is thinking Im covererd and have a strut or two fail..
thanks
As fyi, because my Mercedes SL factory warranty had expired last December, Chrysler did require a pretty thorough inspection be performed by my MB dealer with a specific form to fill in, but the warranty was a done deal after the inspection was complete.
I'm now feeling much better about potential future SL600 repair costs.
I paid my $100.00 deductible each time. That's it.

I did finally get through to the manager of service contracts, past a completely unknowledgeable and incompetent group of employees, who told me Chrysler only issued one Maximum Care contract in the past 2 years. They also advised the contract is between me, and the selling dealer, and I should "take up any disputes with them." Bear in mind that Chrysler LLC publishes the acceptance of the contract, and Michael Noyes endorses as an "Authorized Factory Rep"? I did get them to finally recognize the plan the dealer sold me was not the same plan, plan ID, name or conditions they issued.
I actually have 3 different Maximum Care plans in my possession (issued 3/09, 10/09 and my current, no date). Bear i mind, Chrysler was reorganized from bankruptcy in Nov '09.
It's a little challenging when the physical documentation of features issued by the dealer, and plan ID, doesn't match the plan Chrysler issued me a month later. "Take it or leave it" was the response, further inflaming the situation. The manager finally recognized this, and the debacle continues...
These guys are just purely business ineffective. The first MBZ visit will tell...
