SL/R230: Phones with your SL's?

Phones with your SL's?
SL owners in Europe, did you all get the physical Nokia 6310i with your cars, or do you have to have your own beforehand?

I had the factory fitted phone option because it integrates nicely with the Linguatronic and Command which will be important if the Government ever formally ban the use of hand-held mobiles.
I didn't have a Nokia beforehand, but I put a pay-as-you-go SIM into my Siemens SL45 (why couldn't they do an SL55?) which I use when I'm not in the car. I tend not to take the 6310 around with me because of replacement issues if it gets lost and the inevitable time I would end up in the SL without the phone.
It seems they've dropped the other phone option - the non-removeable car phone, I assume no-one was buying it.

Sorry, BlueSL, didn't explain myself very well. My BMW came with the Nokia kit, but not the phone, and I had to go out and track down the then- outdated Nokia phone to fit, and swap my chip.
It was a pain to have to take out the phone each time (why can't the mobile companies dual chip?), so bought my wife a 6310i knowing she coould use it in the SL.
Now, selling the BMW, do I need another 6310i, or does the car come with the phone and I just swap the chip- can't think why it would but somebody said it was a special 6310i made for Mercedes-Benz.

My car came with the phone it was actually sent to the dealer separately complete with incorrect European power supply. It has a Mercedes Benz part no sticker on the inside but whether that means its special for MB, I do not know, I'd be surprised.
