Thinking about get another SL?
Well I'm from over in the sandbox in Iraq and now looking to trade my 03 SL500 for a 05 SL65 with 28k miles or 07 SL600 with 16K miles on it. A hard pick more power with the 65 or a better warranty but the 65 is CPO too. what everyone think!!!

im 1st going to say be safe and watch your back and i hope you get home soon!
then i was going to say you have more problems to worry about than your next ride BUT i guess this is a good distraction.
having said that I like the 65 because you're probably going to spend more cash modding your 600 into a 65 anyway.

2008 SL600 w/AMG pkg
Look around and be patient. I found an 08 SL600 w/everything for $88k. With all the options that were added, it went for over $170K new. The speed difference between a 65 and the 600 is not worth the extra $50k, or $20k if you add all the extras.
More importantly, buy what you want. You will regret it if you don't.

2008 SL600 w/AMG pkg
I picked mine up in New Orleans and drove it to San Antonio. 550 miles. Needless to say, it did not take me 8 1/2 hrs. That car, on the freeway.... very difficult to stay under the speed limit. 1st and necessary mod, radar detector.
Doing about 85 mph, I passed some kind of Pontiac just this side of Beaumont
and he slipped in right behind me. 
I floored it, he tried to keep up, but he just could not hang. Not sure what I got it up to because thing started flying by pretty quick, but it was in the excess of 140. I slowed back down, he finally caught up and was all

SQRLAW has a posting about his moods including a nicely hard wired 9500 radar. I have one(k40) and although not the best it has saved me, because as you said its can get up quickly LOL. Cruising is about 80 or so for me..

Well I found a SL65 out in Las Vegas that I will be picking up it got loaded up on a transport today and my old sl500 got loaded today on my end..guess first on next week I just have it.....

The baby is on it way.
Well here is she getting loaded in Vegas 12/5/2009 and It got here today 12/7/2009..man what a diff from the sl500 to this!

Thx..it already have the K40 installed in it which one of the other reason I got it because I just had one installed about 8 months ago in my SL500 and didn't want to uninstall it or have to pay all that money again for another.
