SL/R230: Automatic locking/unlocking?

Automatic locking/unlocking?
I bought a 2007 SL55, it has the keyless go, how do you set the car to automatically lock the doors as you walk away and open when you get close to the car, both FOBS are in the house and about 20 feet away, is that to close? Any help is appreciated.

unless they changed the feature from my 05 the keyless go unlucks the door when you grab the handle. it also locks when you touch the black button next to your handle. of course the key must be in your pocket for this to work (or on your body)

I do not think the standard function does the automatic locks as you walk away BUT the SMARTtop module will and more. It is a good mod. to have
