Question: SOS VISIT WORKSHP ERROR

I have hardly had any problem with 2003 SL-500. Car is lowered, has secondary cars removed and has REMUS cans installed in rear. All service and MD upgrades are done. Warranty repaired \ replaced ABC unit and fluid and strut seals. Brakes were done 3k ago. Car has Mandrus 20" wheels.

Question: I get an SOS visit workshop error when outside temp is 45 degrees or below driving to work, about 4 miles. Once car sites in lot and outside temp rises to 55+, error goes away and no record of "malfunction" in memory exist.

If outside temp is over 50 to start with, no error comes up at all. Maybe possiable outside air temp sensor going bad???

Appreciate any input.
