Rotor Removal
Am I missing something on how to get the rotor off an SL600? I have the caliper off, the little hex screw out - but this rotor just won't pop loose. Before I get the hammer out - is there anything else holding it in besides rust?

Pad Sensors
Still working on these brakes... I have not seen a single pad sensor. I have the front driver's side caliper and rotor off and have no idea where a sensor would even go. The pads were completely worn down and I never got a message on the dash. Is it possible that the previous owner disabled the sensors? The only thing going to the caliper is the hydraulic fluid. No other wires. Do all 2004 SL600s have pad sensors?

Not all whels have the sensors, the driver's side do not. Try the passenger side and you will find one.

Found it on the passenger side... Now what do I do with all these extra sensors ?

You can sell the extra sensors on ebay or craigslist or keep them for the future breake job.
